ABOUT ME

Luis Diaz Carrasco

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, I studied from elementary until my first year of college on the island and last year I moved to Florida to come study at FIU. Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed expressing myself, mostly verbally, but every now and then, when I'm asked to I do it through my writings.  I’m fortunate enough to have experienced different life situations and different backgrounds that have shaped who I am and my style of writing. For me, life experiences are what I value the most because it is on what I reflect on when writing. I am glad to have the opportunity of having an audience that can read and reflect on my writings by my side an have a strong sense of unity and communication. I would love to translate this ability into my future as I pursue my professional career. Let it be clear that I always strive to learn and develop my literary approach, voice, and style of writing. As well, I expect to keep growing and develop more skills as a writer.
